Our Story
In 2024, Drouin West Primary celebrates one 150 years of education, and is the oldest school in West Gippsland! Past and present community members are invited to celebrate with us at the school on Sunday October 13th 10am-12pm. Please register your attendance here.
Mural and Commemorative Space
To honour this milestone, we intend to establish a new commemorative paved space underneath a mural paying homage to the original school building which unfortunately was demolished several years ago.
Get Involved
We would like to offer past and present families and teachers the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on the school by being able to purchase a custom paver to be placed in this new area. Any funds raised will be used towards to cost of the commemorative space.

Please place an order via the QKR App (preferred) or via Cash/EFT at the office. Closing date for orders is the 18th of October for installation early 2025.

The Healing Garden located at the center of the school grounds was created to provide a peaceful place for reflection and pathways of discovery following the 2009 Black Saturday bush fires. A series of mosaic artworks tell stories of courage, resilience and regrowth.
